1. Teaching the Arabic language and empower students with its diverse skills, including:
a. Reading and critiquing texts.
b. Verbal and written communication skills.
c. Research skills in linguistic and literary sources.
2. Promoting scientific research in the field of the Arabic language and its sciences, preparing linguistic and literary studies and research to serve the educational process.
3. Preparing national competencies specialized in the Arabic language and its literature: educationally, research-wise, and practically.
4. serving the community by implementing programs organized by the university to develop language skills for employees, writers, preachers, journalists, and others.
5. strengthening ties with the local, Arab, and regional community through holding seminars, conferences, festivals, and discussion sessions.
6. Reviving Arabic heritage in the sciences of the Arabic language and its literature, benefiting researchers and intellectuals, and contributing to highlighting our cultural and human aspects.
7. developing continuously the curriculum in line with the requirements of quality education.
8. Providing linguistic consultations for interested parties by Arabic language professors, as well as contribute to evaluating university theses, scientific, cultural, and intellectual books for researchers, critics, and thinkers.
9. Promoting the language of the Quran among non-Arabic-speaking Islamic communities, enabling them to understand the language of the Quran and Hadith in their eloquent Arabic.
